Campaign EIGHT July 3-25, 2010

Lance Armstrong has dedicated his life’s mission to helping those living with cancer. On July 3rd, 2010, Lance will begin his quest to win an unprecedented Eighth Tour de France. Racing for Cancer is dedicating its first fundraising campaign, EIGHT (or HUIT in French), in support of Lance and LIVESTRONG. Today, cancer accounts for one in every EIGHT deaths worldwide! Each year, EIGHT million lose their lives to the disease. EIGHT is significant. Since Lance has given so much of himself to this cause, as cycling and auto racing fans from around the world, let us unite and show our support for all he has done in the fight against cancer!

Will you help?

Help us reach our goal of a million fans to donate $8 by July 25th, 2010. Let’s build the Montague de Millions (Mountain of a million) in support of Lance and be the “wind at his back” to help him win his Eighth Tour de France!

For each $8 donation, donors will be entered into a random drawing to win an all-expense paid trip to the season ending IZOD Indy Car race at Homestead, Florida, October 2nd, 2010. Winners will receive airfare and hotel accommodations for two, credentials for “behind the scenes” access to the #37 car and Andretti Autosport operations, autograph session with Andretti driver(s), and help in our plans to celebrate National LIVESTRONG Day at the track.

If we achieve our goal of 1,000,000 donations, an additional donor selected from a random drawing will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to the 2011 Indianapolis 500 and be guests of Andretti-Autosport and Team Inland with hotel, airfare, and transportation accommodations for 4 days with suite tickets, credentials and passes to all events from 5/27/11 to the race, Sunday 5/29/11.

Will you donate EIGHT dollars today? Tell your friends. Use our convenient links to Twitter and FaceBook and get others to donate now.
