Michael Fux created The Michael Fux Foundation with the mission of helping sick and underprivileged children. These children are from the most disadvantaged and needy families in our community. Many of them suffer from serious illnesses and are patients of Miami Children’s Hospital or the Children’s Cancer Caring Center. The foundation is committed to achieving this goal in several different ways:
- By providing financial support to those families who are in extraordinary situations and struggle with the daily burden of caring for a sick child.
- By granting the children’s greatest holiday wishes at an annual Holiday Extravaganza. The Michael Fux Foundation began this tradition several years ago and it has rapidly become one of Miami’s most joyous events of the season.
- The creation of a Family Resource Center at Miami Children’s Hospital – a place that families can access 24/7 while their children are hospitalized.
The Michael Fux Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization
